Where would you like to go?
In the trial lesson, let's first clarify together what goals you want to pursue with your instrument.
Sitting on the couch and strumming away is fine, I enjoy doing that too, but ultimately, playing music is a communal activity – even if that may seem remote at the moment, I recommend defining a goal that includes playing with and/or for other people. Play in a band? In the school orchestra? Regularly participate in jam sessions or present a show with your own songs? A clear goal helps with focus and motivation – your music practice will gain more momentum.
Of course, you can always change direction and redefine your goal – just like with any journey.
Accompany songs! You enjoy singing and would like to learn how to accompany yourself on the guitar? Or expand your repertoire of accompaniment techniques because you're fed up with your usual patterns? Perhaps you've already tried learning with instructional videos and don't understand why your playing still doesn't sound like the original? Do you write songs or lyrics and want to develop them musically and present them convincingly on stage? I can help you develop a structured, step-by-step plan to achieve your goal – we'll stay close to your favorite music. Upon request or as needed, we can cover rhythm, technique, general music theory, song structure, advanced picking, open chords in higher registers, chord extensions, intros, fills, etc. Book your no-obligation trial lesson now! |
Rock it out! You would like to play in a band, or are already doing so, and want to improve in one or more areas? Rhythm, technique, solo improvisation, songwriting, stage confidence? Would you like to learn how to play a few classics from A to Z? Or, on the contrary, develop your own ideas further? Book your no-obligation trial lesson now! |

Broaden the horizon! You've been playing for a while, feel limited in your expressive possibilities, and are ready to discover something new? Jazz, blues, funk, soul, reggae... General music theory? Improvisation? Or an introduction to the South Indian rhythmic language Konnakol? The musical universe is limitless and waiting for you! At the same time, we're always looking at how you can integrate the new things into your already active musical practice. Book your no-obligation trial lesson now!

Support the child! Your child is interested in the guitar, or you yourself would like to give them the opportunity to explore the world of playing music, have fun, and develop their cognitive and social skills? Then I look forward to supporting (the three of) you in that endeavor. I teach younger children using "classically" oriented textbooks; older children can bring their favorite music, and I'll show them how to play the respective song, or we will take a look together to identify the prerequisites needed and work through them step by step. Upon request or as needed, we can cover rhythm, technique, ear training, improvisation, general music theory, songwriting, sounds... Book your no-obligation trial lesson now!
